Come experience a specialized form of dog training where the dogs are responsible for herding livestock. Jobs like gathering, sorting, moving, holding, and trials. Question and answer period where you can ask the experts! Come experience a fun day learning about MN stockdogs!

PROGRAM OVERVIEW: Participating youth and adults will learn how a dog and handler can reach their herding potential and goals. You will learn about the basic principles of herding- including terminology, training principles, and the role played by handler, dog and livestock. WHO CAN ATTEND: This demo day is open for ALL youth and adults, especially those with a passion for dogs! COST: FREE- Please bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.
